We visited Connie's childhood friend, Nancy, at her hobby farm just north of the New Hampshire line, where she lives with her husband Jim, two horses, a guinea pig and a bunch of free-range chickens. Nancy and Jim had inquired ahead of time what kind of food we like, and we had requested "something low carb." We arrived to find a veritable feast of low-carb foods. Although we were only with them for one night, we did several days worth of talking and eating. We were so busy enjoying ourselves that we forgot to take any pictures. Please use your imagination to conjure up a quaint New England home and a horse barn painted baby-blue, surrounded by pine woods and winding country roads.
Nancy, who is a trained massage therapist, tackled the neck problem that has plagued Connie for years. Connie was delighted to discover that all that stiffness and soreness is not a symptom of old age after all. With proper treatment, it goes away!
