Welcome to the Lee Family Christmas Page for 2012
Thanks for visiting our website. We hope you've had lovely holidays and we wish you a healthy and prosperous New Year.
Here's an update on our family's experiences during 2012.

The year began on a sad note as we said goodbye to Donald's father, Alf Robert Lee.
Al was an energetic and creative man -- truly one of a kind.
His passing reminds us that every day of life is a gift and we want to make the most of it.

Connie continues to enjoy working with youngsters in the after-school program. She finds it's best to keep them busy. Tired children are peaceful children!
One way to keep them busy is to invite visitors to lead educational activities. Here's Donald showing some kindergarteners how to take apart a disk drive.

Donald wears many hats these days. In addition to his software company, I/O Doctors, he is active in several local political organizations. He also has been doing a lot of writing. His letters and Op/Ed's have been featured in the Pioneer Press and on his blog at:

Connie is also pursuing her interest in writing. Last summer she attended the Write-to-Publish Conference in Wheaton, Illinois. She met some wonderful writers, and thoroughly enjoyed playing "author" for a week.

The conference gave her the chance to revisit the joys of college campus life. Eating three meals a day cooked by someone else? Marvelous! Sleeping on a thin dormitory mattress? --maybe not so great, but well worth it.

In October, we had the pleasure of seeing Andrew in a tux at the wedding of his childhood buddy, John. Here they are with their other good friend Josh. It seems like only yesterday the three of them were playing with Legos in our basement.

As the year drew to a close, we found that 2012 had saved the best for last. We had lots of company for Christmas: Andrew made it home from California; Timothy and his wife Amanda arrived from Philadelphia. They gave us lots of cause for joy as we celebrated our Savior's birth. The pictures below capture some of our favorite moments.
